Why are we doing this?

Our Story

We are the Kim family. Our health journey began on March 18, 2020 when Josiah, our then 6-year old son, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

At the height of Covid-19 and a nation-wide lockdown, Josiah underwent surgery to remove the tumor attached to his cerebellum and then received high dose radiation to the whole brain and spine. Needless to say, it was the most trying time for our family.

Though the tumor was successfully removed, the surgery caused severe brain damage. Consequently, Josiah was hospitalized for two months and bed-ridden for much longer because his basic abilities were lost. He could not open his eyes, speak, swallow, control his muscles, sit up, nor have bowel movements. He was alive but he wasn’t living.

We were desperate for his recovery but saw no progress for almost two months. During that time, the doctors prescribed many different medications and he was administered drugs every couple of hours, fed through a tube, and catheterized. For the next year and a half, we worked daily to help him keep his food down and recover basic life skills. In the process, we realized that the medications were actually hindering his healing and preventing him from advancing in his therapies.

In search of a better quality of life for Josiah and to prevent secondary cancers, we immersed ourselves in learning about holistic healing options. We eventually weaned Josiah off all the medications and replaced them with natural supplements and treatments, such as hyperbaric  oxygen therapy (HBOT), to encourage whole-body healing and to rebuild his health. We were not just addressing the damage done; we were seeking true health and wellness for Josiah.

As Josiah’s mother, I (Jennifer) dealt with deep remorse for not stewarding my children’s health. This experience drove me to learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle with proper nutrition and natural remedies and treatments for healing all types of ailments. I am convinced that true health is practiced when every aspect of life contributes positively to it as in an intricately woven tapestry.

After five years of intense research and applying this knowledge to our own family’s health needs, we are healthier, mentally sharper, happier and have hope for Josiah’s future.

Our mission is to support families to recover their health and enjoy their lives through consulting, educating, and providing natural remedies to promote true wellness.
